Bad Hair Day

You know those days that you don't feel like doing your hair? Yeah, that's almost everyday for me. That's a reason why I love head scarfs, headbands, etc. They are a perfect way to pretend like you did your hair, also a good way to defend yourself when it's super windy outside. It's been super cold too, brrrr...I'm starting to wonder if warmer temps will ever get here. Now my outfit, biker chick anyone? haha.

Denim & Leopard

Is anyone struggling with the time change besides me? I feel off today. I usually get up and go to the gym at 5 a.m. on weekdays. So that means it'll feel like i'm waking up at 4 a.m. tomorrow morning. Eh.....I might just stay in bed.

 

We celebrated my poppa's birthday a few days ago and this is what I wore to the festivities. I just got my new headband in the mail from Lemons & Lace (link below) and love it! I feel like I have a weird shaped head, headbands never seem to fit me right or stay on. This one fits like a glove! Plus, you can wear it a million different ways. It's easy to throw on, like I did, when your hair isn't cooperating.

I'm officially boycotting this snow with my all black, sort of gloomy outfit. I am SO ready for spring. I miss the sun. I am getting tired of wearing my coats. Let's cross our fingers for an early spring, that groundhog better have been right!

Haven't you all been loving the sunshine lately? I sure have. Spring is almost here. I got this fun head scarf and really love it, you can wear it so many ways. Besides, it's leopard print-and leopard prints rock.  I also love the idea of mixing fancy and casual, I think its a fun combo. Have a great President's Day Weekend!

Dressy Sunday

 A girls gotta love a leapord print skirt, right? If you know me well, you know about my slight obsession with leopard print. I am a product of my grandmother, and proud of it. In fact, one of the guys at work even noticed a few weeks ago. He said to me, "Isn't that like the 4th leopard print thing you've worn this week?" Why yes, yes it was.

Hello, hello! Hope everyone is enjoying their holidays, I know I am! Our household has been under the weather the past few days because Beckett caught the Stomach Flu and daycare. He has been a trooper and I think he is starting to get better. I hate seeing that little guy sick. So, this outfit is a little bit dreary with the black and gray, but I felt like the little pop of red was just what it needed.

I don't know about you all, but I always feel lazy during the holidays. It probably has something to do with all the food that has been eaten! This morning I got back to the gym and got back into the swing of things, it felt great!

 

Have I mentioned that I love this time of year? I love doing all of the 'holiday activities'. There is so much to look forward to. For now, i'll look forward to all of the Christmas shopping I get to do:)

Button-Ups & Leopard

Oh my goodness, I LOVE a good button-up. They work well with so many different things. Sometimes, the simplest outfits are the best. I recently found this black shirt and fell in love! It's super comfy, made really well, and even has a bit of stretch. Mmmm....perfecto! For work I paired it with some comfy leopard flats.
