Motorcycles

Recently I have been in love with motorcycle inspired items, such as.....the motorcycle jacket & these motorcycle jeggings i'm wearing. You would probably assume that I like motorcycles as much as these clothing items, but that couldn't be further from the truth. My children won't appreciate me when they're older....no motorcycles for them.....too dangerous.

Anyways, I love this sweater too. I found it at Nordstroms on clearance, I love a good deal!

Snow Days

I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas! I know that I sure did. I love this time of year and spending time with family, it's the best. We are taking a break for a few days from the celebrations and then we are off to Orangeville to visit my husbands side of the family. It's a busy time of year! I have been wanting these boots for a while now and my husband gave them to me for Christmas! He did good work. Beckett, Beckett, Beckett....he got spoiled for Christmas and got some cu-ute stuff! That spoiled boy.

Casual Saturday

It's the big one! Last Saturday before Christmas. You couldn't pay me to fight the crowds at the mall today. This is the day i'm glad that I get my Christmas shopping done early! Today was full of little errands and spending time with family, so my outfit reflected that. Merry Christmas!

Simplicity

It's the simple things in life that really make it enjoyable. Today's out fit was comfy and easy to throw on for a long day at work. The best part of my day? Seeing these two waiting for me when I got home :)

Pop of Color

Hello, hello! Hope everyone is enjoying their holidays, I know I am! Our household has been under the weather the past few days because Beckett caught the Stomach Flu and daycare. He has been a trooper and I think he is starting to get better. I hate seeing that little guy sick. So, this outfit is a little bit dreary with the black and gray, but I felt like the little pop of red was just what it needed.

Snowflakes & Chocolate

I have been waiting for another snowstorm, and we finally got a small one yesterday. We met up with some friends of ours for a double date; we did some shopping and eating. We went up to see the new outlets at Traverse Mountain but boy....it was cold and windy.

While my friend and I checked out some stores, the boys went and took a break at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory store, Beckett came out with a chocolate covered marshmallow. He was more than excited. Love his face.

Also, I think I have a nail polish hoarding issue.

Bib Necklace & Sock Bun

I don't know about where you guys live but it has been SO windy the last few days by our house. This morning the wind finally took the power out. So we had to get ready for church with the power turning off & on. I got this new bib necklace i'm lovin it. It's more simple, plain black, so it goes with more. And a sock bun on a day like this? Yes, please! (Sorry about the picture today, bad quality)

My Winter Musts

It's finally looking A LOT like winter outside! I love the beginning of winter because it means Christmas is right around the corner :) Here is my list of items I think are perfect for this time of year:

1. Vasanti - Brighten Up! This is an AMAZING face product. I got it in my Birchbox a few months ago and have been raving about it ever since. It has little enzymes in it and feels amazing when your done. It's the best exfoliation product i've tried.

2. Minnetonka Boots: I looove fringe. I have been eyeing these babies for months.

3. Motorcycle Jacket: We all end up wearing coats and jackets all winter, so you might as well have a variety so you don't get stuck wearing the same thing everyday. I love motorcycle jackets, they are a cute addition to any outfit. I found this moto jacket for a GREAT price at Forever 21.

4. Muted Nail Polish: I've always been a bit of a nail polish hoarder. It's fun to mix up your nail polish colors every so often to match the season. Lately i've been loving the darker, muted tones like this one from OPI.

5. Southwestern Vest or Cardigan: You absolutely cannot go wrong with layers this time of year. That being said, mix it up! Don't just go with a plain colored cardigan like I usually do. I found this southwestern vest at Nordstrom and fell in love. It would be cute with anything....jeans, leggings, or a skirt.
6. Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer: Of course you have to keep your skin well hydrated during the winter. I don't know about you but my skin gets super dry with these Utah cold months. Olay Complete Moisturizer is the classic facial moisturizer, you can't go wrong.

7. Print Jeans: Colored and printed jeans have been all the rave. I've been on board with this trend and have been eating up printed pants recently. American Eagle fits me really well because you can order their pants in a long length (cheers to tall girls). Pair these pants with a simple T and scarf and you're ready to go.
Floral Jegging
8. Wedge Boots: Boots of course, are a necessity in snowy months. Love the look of wedge boots with cuffed up skinny jeans. These wedge boots from Old Navy are adorable, however, I could never find them in the store....only online.

9. Red Lipstick: I can't say I'm always adventurous enough to wear red lipstick, but I think its perfect with the right outfit.

10. Beanie: Last but not least....a beanie! It's safe to say that most of us could live in beanies this winter. So comfy and cute. Loved this one from Urban Outfitters.
